The Zionsville Parks Foundation is proud to announce several grants and donations made to the Zionsville Department of Parks and Recreation in 2026. Your contributions are directly enhancing our green spaces and educational reach!

 

2026 Funding Highlights

Project Impact Investment
Youth Nature Programming Funding for Nature Connections, Toddler Trek, Junior Ecologist Homeschool Club, and PEEPs. $25,000
Carpenter Nature Preserve Phase 1 infrastructure development to build the foundation of our newest park and to prepare the site of the future nature education center. $75,000
Green Carpet Initiative Clearing invasive species and replanting native wildflowers and grasses at Carpenter Nature Preserve. $15,000
Park Seating New benches for rest and reflection at Carpenter Nature Preserve. $8,000
Starkey Park Restoration Targeted invasive species removal to protect local biodiversity. $4,720
Heritage Trail Park Interactive interpretive signs for the native plant garden. $2,500
