Dear Neighbors, Welcome! I am thrilled to announce the opening of the Zionsville Parks Foundation.

Zionsville Parks Foundation is a not-for-profit Foundation that seeks to preserve, enhance and grow a thriving Parks system for your enjoyment.

As the Town of Zionsville continues to grow at an unprecedented rate, it is more important than ever that our community prioritizes the protection and development of green space. This Foundation was formed to assess resident needs and desires and to carry forward initiatives that park users want to support. We will strive to represent the Zionsville community for places to hike, recharge, and stay connected with the outdoor world.

Our logo reflects our energy and commitment to preserving the nature of Zionsville, both in the grand and small details. We aimed for an organic mark with an acorn as the focal point, which encompasses open skies, fields of native meadows, and a meandering path at the spine of the reflective oak leaf. At the top, an agile whitebreasted nuthatch hangs on a tree trunk. The colors of our logo were sourced from the Carpenter Nature Preserve, featuring the colors of mature tree groves, yellow goldenrod, and the seasonal changes within Zionsville’s future largest conservation nature park.

I look forward to connecting with each of you as we move forward in our work to ensure that Zionsville continues into the future with a thriving system of parks and natural spaces.

Curious how you can support the Zionsville Parks Foundation? Contact us today and make a donation to help us preserve, enhance and grow Zionsville’s green places.

Thank you!
