Please note, the Carpenter Nature Preserve is NOT open to the public. The Town of Zionsville’s Park & Recreation Department will announce an estimated open date sometime in 2026 when the first phase of the project is completed. Below is the proposed conceptual plan for Phase 1.
A Magical Nature Playground at Carpenter Nature Preserve
2024 promises to be a transformational year as the Zionsville Parks Foundation embarks upon our most exciting and ambitious project in our short history: a state-of-the-art nature playground at Carpenter Nature Preserve! The Foundation has made a commitment to raise $75,000 over three years for naming rights to the playground on behalf of our donors.
One of the things that makes this opportunity unique is that, in addition to the Foundation’s donation, $75,000 in federal funds will be utilized for this project. We are excited for this chance to leverage federal funding so that each individual’s donation can go twice as far in making an impact on parks in our community!
