Looking back at a successful year!

In 2022 the Zionsville Parks Foundation supported our green spaces in a variety of ways. We were very proud to support the Town of Zionsville Parks & Recreation Department in everything from establishing the first-ever Summer Camp Scholarship Program to bringing nature back home by restoring native plantings at local parks and sponsoring several outdoor events! This work wouldn’t be possible without the support of people like you, including our funders who see Zionsville’s green spaces as irreplaceable. Thank you for supporting us throughout the year. Take a look below at what you helped us do in 2022:

What is the difference between the Zionsville Parks Foundation (ZPF) and the Town of Zionsville Parks Department and/or Park Board?

The Zionsville Parks Foundation (ZPF) is a non-profit organization made up of a volunteer board of directors and it can receive funding through a variety of grants, private funding, and donations.

While the Town of Zionsville’s Park Board is a government entity with appointed positions that uses a majority of public tax funds, with limited grant monies.

Just as our Zionsville Community Schools have the Zionsville Educational Foundation, we hope to be able to understand the needs of the community and assist the Parks Department in our mission to preserve, enhance, and grow parks and green spaces.
